Nokia Maps will soon appear on Ovi
The company Nokia announced the imminent appearance Maps section on the portal Ovi. As part of the service Ovi, Nokia Maps will allow users to plan a trip, paving the route on the map, noting “point of interest” in the desktop PC, then synchronize this data (automatically or manually) with smartphones. Or vice versa: while on the road, write route to the smartphone using Nokia Maps 2.0, and then downloaded into the Maps on Ovi.
Maps on Ovi Service will be launched in late September this year. Previously, possibly a beta version. Initially, service will work only on mobile devices Nokia, but then the company plans to make it available to other phones. Annex Nokia Maps 2.0 is now available in beta platform for S60, and by the end of the year should see a simplified version for phones with Series 40.
