Nokia intends to release more Linux-devices

nokia release more linux-devices

At a planned meeting with investors, Chief Financial Officer Rick Simonson company Nokia (Rick Simonson) said that Nokia plans to soon bring to market new devices, which will be an operating system based on the kernel Linux. Simonson is not clarified whether Linux-smartphones, on the Internet tablet, or about a new class of devices for the company, but he clearly promised to expand Linux-range machines.

It will be recalled that after the release of “revolutionary” iPhone company Nokia was not able to provide at least some competing with the device, and most analysts are inclined to blame platform S60, which, with all its pros managed obsolete. A partial shift to Linux company is one of the most obvious way out of their crisis.
